Weekend in Kuantan

We went to Kuantan last Thursday. Papa was having a meeting there. It was my fifth time and Clarise's second time going to Kuantan. We stayed in Zenith Hotel, the same hotel we stayed last year.

Didn't do much there. Weng sok was there too. Most of the time staying in the hotel playing in the kid's room and swimming in the hotel pool. But I managed to meet some new friends there. We went for seafood and I got to eat my favorite fried sotong!

We came back to day after lunch. Tomorrow is the beginning of the school holidays but I have school activities for the first week......

Happy Birthday Err-Yee!

Today is Err-yee's birthday, but we decided to throw a birthday party for her yesterday. Ah Ma was in KL over the weekend to take care of us as mummy was not feeling well earlier. Hooi ah yee was here too for holidays.

I actually planned a surprise party for err-yee with papa and mummy's help. I decorated our house with balloons arranged in shapes of flowers. One from me and another one from Clarise. I also made a birthday card for err-yee and we went and bought an Oreo cake for her.

As err-yee came back from class yesterday afternoon, I was holding her birthday cake. As she opened the door, I shouted SURPRISE!! We then sang birthday song and cut the cake.

Ah Ma was cooking steamboat. There were so many things to eat, Yum! Yum!

Happy Birthday Kar Mun!

Yesterday was Ah Ming che-che's birthday, but we celebrated on Friday night coz Ah Weng sok and goo-goo were busy.

We had BBQ at Ah Pek's house. As usual, we had balloons, party hats and birthday cake. Mummy and Clarise didn't come as mummy was not feeling well. We also Skype with goong-goong and poh-poh.

Ah Ming che-che's birthday cake was a red Angry Bird! She received lots of presents. Goo-goo gave her a Cinderella doll, Weng sok gave her a Barbie doll and I gave her a playdoh set. Ah pek gave her a new Epad.

Happy Belated Mother's Day!

Me and Clarise would like to take the opportunity to wish poh-tai, ah chor, poh-poh, ah ma, mummy, yee-poh, sa ee-poh, san goo-poh, ah ehm, other aunties-aunties a very Happy Mother's Day!!!

I made a pretending pizza, a card and a flower for mummy. We ate pizza last night too!

Holiday in Phuket - Part 3

We stayed in Metadee Resort in Kata. Our room was wonderful with a balcony opened directly into the swimming pool! The room was huge and we were greeted with orchids lying on the bed.

Clarise slept in the baby cot. She was so excited!

We had lunch in our room. After that we went to the pool. We straight jumped into the pool from our room!
The swimming pool was very big too.

The hotel was so big that they will fetch us from the lobby to our room! They also sent us to the main road using their buggy.

Kata beach was quieter compared to Patong. Less people and less noise. We had our dinner at Mama Restaurant.

After dinner, we went for a walk and I bought a watermelon-shaped ice-cream!

Basically we did not do much in Kata. We spent most of the time swimming and lazying around in the hotel.
On Wednesday morning, as usual we went for a swim before checking out.

We checked out at 12.30pm and had lunch at the hotel. After lunch we just hang around in the hotel while waiting for our taxi to pick us up to the airport.

We had ice-cream and I shared with Clarise....

Our flight departed at 5.10pm and by the time we reached home, it was already 9.30pm. It was fun and we love Phuket very much. I really hope we can visit Phuket again in future....
