Las Vegas

We reached Las Vegas on Monday afternoon. We stayed in Circus Circus Hotel. I like this hotel as it has a big indoor theme park and an arcade. It reminds me of Genting Highlands.

We came together with papa's friends and we tour around in a rented minivan. On Tuesday, we went to visit the Red Rock Canyon. Here the rocks are mostly red in colour. It was about 30 minutes drive from our hotel. Unfortunately, we had a flat tire during our journey. It was so funny watching papa and his friends changed the tire. We had no choice but to leave Red Rock Canyon early.

We went back to the car rental center and changed to another minivan. After lunch at a chinese buffet restaurant, we went to Hoover Dam. It was a very huge man-made structure. However, the weather was very hot.

We went back to the hotel in the evening and visited The Strip.....

Griffith Observatory and Farmer's Market

We went to Griffith Observatory last Sunday morning. It is a very big building with a very big telescope in it. It is a place where people study astronomy and looking at stars.

We later had lunch in Farmer's market. We had rice, fried oysters, donuts and ice-cream!
We left Los Angeles on Monday to Las Vegas!
