Castaway Cay

We reached Castaway Cay, Bahamas on the third day. It is actually a private island belongs to Disney. It is a very beautiful island and very clean. We were greeted by Captain Hook and Mr Smee, Mickey and Pluto.

We spent the morning on the island swimming, snorkelling and making sand castles. We bought some souvenirs too. We had BBQ lunch on the island. Again, the weather was nice, cloudy and not too hot.

We headed back to our ship around 2 pm. We continued our swimming in the ship's pool and water play area. We rode the giant water slide, the Aquaduck too.

By 4 pm, we were at the atrium again for the meet-and-greet session with the Disney princesses. We got to take pictures with Peter Pan, Cinderella, Tiana, Belle, Ariel and Snow White. I even danced with Ariel too! Captain Mickey was around too.

As usual, by 6.15 pm, we went to the Walt Disney Theater. This time we watched a musical called "Disney's Believe'. It was a story about a workaholic father who through the power of Disney magic reconnects with his daughter and learns a valuable lesson about what is most important in life.

We had dinner in the Enchanted Garden Restaurant this time. I had chicken tenders and Clarise had macaroni and cheese. I ate strawberry shortcake for dessert.

Giant scallops!

After dinner, we went for the Goodbye Party with Mickey and friends. We took pictures with them for the last time on board the ship. After that, I went to the Oceaneer Club again. This time, I played with Tinkerbell and we made a magic wand.

The next morning, we had an early breakfast as we need to disembark by 9 am. It was a wonderful first time cruising experience for us and I hope we can do it again in future. We went straight to Orlando as we planned to visit Universal Studios next.
