Holiday in Bali

We had our first school holidays last week. We went to Bali for holidays. It was me and Clarise's first trip to Bali.

We stayed in Courtyard Hotel in Nusa Dua, Bali. We spent most of the time in the hotel in their Kid's Club, swimming pool and beach. 

In the evening, we went to the nearby Bali Collection for dinner. Overall, it was a very relaxing holiday without any rush or traffic jam.

We enjoyed this holiday very much!

Happy Goat Year

Happy New Year everyone! This year was a low-key celebration for us due to ah kong's passing on, but nonetheless, we still had fun celebrating with families and friends.

At the same time, we celebrated papa's birthday too.

As usual, we celebrated CNY both in Alor Setar and Perlis. We played firecrackers, lanterns and even football!

Last Friday, both me and Clarise celebrated new year in school. As usual, there is lion dance in Clarise school. They actually brought in a baby goat!

For me, we had a CNY school concert. There were singing and dancing performances. I took part in singing chinese new year songs!

I am Seven

I am seven this year. We celebrated my birthday last week, on Sunday and Thursday. We went to Jungle Gym on Sunday followed by Japanese lunch.

On Thursday, which is my birthday, we went to celebrate with dinner at Three Little Pigs and The Big Bad Wolf Restaurant. I get to celebrate together with ah ma, err-yee and xiao-yee.

This year, I got a camera from papa and mummy! I like to take pictures so much that from now on, whenever we go for holidays. I will have my own camera!

Happy New Year!

Time flies. Everyone says I am a big girl now. I will be attending Standard One this year. It means this will be another new journey of my life. I guess there will be less time for playing, travelling and watching TV. On the other hand, I am quite excited to embark on this new journey of mine meeting new friends, studying, reading, doing projects and activities together.

It is also inevitable that I am now wearing glasses. I guess I am carrying my daddy's genes. But, I still look cute, right?

I wish everyone a Happy New Year and although the year did not start off good for our family, I hope things will get better soon. May my ah kong get well soon and a happy new year everyone!
