Holiday in Phuket - Part 1

We went to Phuket, Thailand last Sunday. It was both me and Clarise's first trip to Thailand. I was so excited boarding an airplane again. We reached Phuket around 4.30pm local time. We checked-in at Burasari Hotel in Patong, Phuket. The beach was just across the road. The hotel was very nice with 2 swimming pools and the room was big.

At night, we went out to a nearby restaurant for dinner. I had ham and cheese sandwich while mummy and papa ate tomyam and phad thai. I don't think Thai food is suitable for me as most of the food is very spicy!

After dinner, we went for a walk around Patong town. There are many shops selling souvenirs, shirts and restaurants. There were lots of stalls selling pancakes. We had banana and nutella pancake. It was so delicious! We saw this nice pink van which was a mobile bar!

The next morning we went to the hotel restaurant for breakfast. There was this cute parrot at the hotel restaurant. It can whistle and talk!

After breakfast, we went to swim at the swimming pool. The water was very cold as it was raining the night before.

In the afternoon, we went to Jungceylon, the largest shopping mall in Phuket. We took a tuk-tuk car. We enjoyed the ride.

We had lunch in the shopping mall. We had noodle soup, som-tam, mango sticky rice and red ruby. Yum! Yum!

The shopping mall is very big. It has a big fountain with a pirate ship in the middle! There was a musical fountain show at night, but too bad, we could not stay until night time. We took lots of photos here.

I love Phuket.....

By evening, we went back to the hotel and get ready to go to the beach..... (to be continued)
