Halloween in Disneyworld

We finally went to Disneyworld last weekend! I was not feeling well for the last whole week with fever and cough. Papa had to bring me to the doctor as I was not getting any better. Luckily, I recovered just in time for this visit.

Disneyworld is much much larger than Hong Kong Disneyland. Basically it has four main parks: Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studio, Animal Kingdom and EPCOT. We only managed to visit Magic Kingdom this time. It was about 3 and a half hours drive from our house.

We stayed in Disney All-Star Sports Hotel. The hotel looked exactly like a football stadium!

I think this helmet is too big for Clarise!

On Friday evening, we went to Mickey's not-so-scary Halloween party. Everyone was dressed in their favourite costumes. I saw a lot of Disney princesses, pirates, ghosts, zombies and super heroes. Me and Clarise were dressed as Princess Aurora from the Sleeping Beauty!

Do I look like a princess?

We took a shuttle bus from our hotel to Magic Kingdom. The ride is about 15 minutes.

The whole place was decorated with pumpkins and ghosts! The whole party was ruined by the rain that night. It was quite heavy and luckily we have our ponchos ready. It was unfortunate that visitors could not show off their expensive costumes!

Nevertheless, we did not let the rain to spoil our party completely. We had fun treat-or-treating. Me and Clarise collected lots of sweets and candies.

The fireworks display was spectacular. It was more or less the same as the one we saw in Hong Kong Disneyland, but this one was of Halloween theme. After the firework display, the parade began. Here we saw Mickey and friends dressed up in their favourite costumes and a lot of bad guys and ghosts too.

By the time we reached our hotel, it was already midnight. We had fun except for the rain.
