Singapore Trip (4)

We celebrated Reuben ah goo's birthday on SAturday night. Actually he is a Singapore National Day boy, he was born on the 9th of August exactly Singapore's National Day. We decided to celebrate earlier coz we were going back on Sunday.

We had BBQ party that night. Yee-poh didn't invite anybody, just us. All of us wore red and white, which is the Singapore flag's colour. We had so much fun!

After the BBQ, we went up for the cake cutting ceremony. It was a Woody's birthday cake! I like Woody! Reuben got a lot of presents that night. I also got 2 sets of Lego and a Toy Story 3D puzzles!

All of us slept very late that night. As usual, Charles ah kong mabuk.........

Singapore Trip (3)

On Thursday morning, we took the MRT to Tampines Mall. It was my first time inside MRT. It's just like a train! Luckily it was not too crowded and I got to sit on my own :)

On Friday night, we went to the Night Safari. There we were supposed to see animals at night. It was so dark! Didn't manage to take any pictures coz it was too dark and we were not allowed to use camera flash.

Reached there around 8pm, after dinner at Bongo Burgers, we went to see fire performance. It was just like the one I saw in A'Farmosa Melaka.

In the safari, we travelled by tram to see the animals in their natural habitat. I saw deers, buffalos, tigers, lions, giraffes, hippos, elephants, etc.... But most of the animals were sleeping! I prefer the zoo.

Singapore Trip (2)

We checked in to Fairmont Hotel on Wednesday afternoon. It is a 5-star hotel situated at Raffles City. The hotel room was big and pretty. We stayed at the 18th floor. Papa then went to attend the conference while we went shopping.

That night after dinner, we went to The Esplanade. It was my second visit there. I was there in 2008 when we went there together with goong-goong and poh-poh but I was too young to remember anything back then.

The scenery was magnificient and there were many decorations full of stars to celebrate Singapore's National Day. I took many pictures with the white and red stars!

I also saw the Merlion. It was supposed to be an imaginary animal with a lion head and body of a fish! The Esplanade Theatre is big and looked like a giant durian! There is also t6he new Marina Bay Sands Hotel with a ship on top of a building!

We then went for the Boat Ride which took us to Clark Quay and enjoyed the scenery there. By the time we reached the hotel, it was already 11.30pm.................
