CNY

Just came back from Alor Star. Spent about 10 days in Alor star and kangar celebrating chinese new year and my birthday. I received a lot of ang pows this year! Got double ang-pows as it is my birthday too!

"Gong Xi Fa Cai!"

Had reunion lunch in koong-koong's house. We had steamboat. Everyone was around. At night, we went to Kangar and had reunion dinner with ah kong and ah mah. This year ah mah, didn't cook. We went to Sri Patani restaurant.

On new year's day, we went to temple and relatives' house. It was very hot. At night, our relatives came and visited us. It was fun as i get to dress up very pretty.

Ah kong organised a birthday party for me on the CNY second day. Decided to held it earlier coz everyone was around. Will write more of my birthday party later. Enjoy the photos!

Getting older...

Today is my birthday according to the chinese calendar. I should be 2 years old now. Happy birthday to me!!! Gee... I'm a big gal now. Learning to stand on my own now.

Mummy cooked mee-suah for me today, it's a sign of longevity. Tonight, we went shopping again. I got another new pants and dress... :)

Chinese new year mood

Chinese new year is coming!! I'm nearly one year old!! So much to look forward to!!

I still remember last chinese new year i was only 1 week old! still dunno what was happening back then. Now i know is that i will dress up very pretty and receive lots of ang pows!! It's my birthday too. Hope i get double the angpows! :)

I've got lots of new dresses for the chinese new year but mummy said she will buy me more this sunday. he..he..

Down south (2) and a Happy New Year!!

.... The next day, we went shopping again. Mummy bought lots of chinese new year clothes for me. Papa bought me a soft toy tortoise called "doo-doo". Goong-goong, poh-poh, weng-sok and theng goo-goo went back on sunday night. We spent an extra day and went back on Monday night. Yee-poh gave me "jup-jup" from High-5. I really like it!

Today is new year day. Happy new year! I'll be turning one soon... Big gal liao. Goong-goong, poh-poh and siao yee went back this morning. Will see them again soon, during chinese new year! Can't wait to receivelots of ang pows!!!

Down south (1)

Went to Singapore last weekend. It was my first trip there. Goong-goong, poh-poh, weng sok and sen-sen and ah theng goo-goo followed us. We left on Friday afternoon and reached Singapore by 8pm.

Lancy Ah Kong and Charles ah kong already waiting for us at the seafood restaurant by the time we reached there. I met so many people there, Joelle, Reuben, Jonathan, Er-yee and siao yee. We had crabs, prawns.......

That night I was so excited! I received so many christmas presents :) I only slept at 1 am! Ah weng sok, papa, lancy ah kong drank and talked till 3am....

The next day, they went shopping at Bugis village. I didn't go coz I wanna stay at home and play with Joelle and Reuben. At night we went to The Esplanade...

Went back home very late and again, i refused to sleep.....

Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas everyone!! This year is my first time experiencing christmas. Shopping complexes full of christmas decorations, santa claus, performances and sales.

Last night went to ah pek's house for steamboat. Had a lot of fun playing with my cousin aunties. Yee-poh gave me a christmas gift :)

Met my new "sen-sen" too. he..he.. will be going down south......

Dongzhi festival and tang yuan

Today is dongzhi festival. I'm not really sure what festival it is but i know it's the day when everyone eating tang yuan.

Went to ah pek's yesterday for lunch. Poh-poh made very colourful tang-yuan (blue, white, red, orange, green..) but mummy won't allow me to eat, afraid i might get choked. Come on, i'm already a big girl!!

Chim poh bought me a very pretty white dress! Can't wait to wear it soon.

Papa bought me 2 books today. An ABC book and an animal book.

This evening, poh-poh, yee-poh, ah ngg and ah ming came to my house. We went swimming and we had a lot of fun! Ah ming chie-chie was afraid of water!! She should come more often.

Mummy said I always sleep well after i went to swim. Of course, tired ma!!!

Christmas is coming.....
